Ophcrack is based on Slackware, and uses rainbow tables to solve passwords up to 14 characters in length. The time required to solve a password? Generally 10 seconds. The expertise needed? None.

Simply download the Ophcrack ISO and burn it to a CD (or load it onto a USB drive via UNetbootin). Insert the CD into a machine you would like to gain access to, then shutdown computer . Turn the computer back on and enter BIOS at startup. Change the boot sequence to CD before HDD, then save and exit.

The computer will restart and Ophcrack will be loaded. Sit back and watch as it does all the work for your. Write down the password it gives you, remove the disc, restart the computer, and log in as if it were you own machine.

Disable Cut, Copy and Paste in Windows

How often do you leave your PC unattended? How many people can access our workstation or home PC? And what do you keep in your hard disk? If you leave your PC unattended and anyone or few can access your home/work PC then your data and information is in risk. One can easily copy your documents and files.

You may have secured your PC by setting password. But you won’t be putting password in screensaver mode, will you?

In this tutorial I am going to show you how you can prevent your files from being copied illegally to any storage media or even inside one folder location to another location of same hard drive.

Before we begin with the tutorial, download this free utility which will be playing main role in this tutorial.

The downloaded file is a zip file; you’ll need to extract it.

After extraction install the program. Remember the location of the installation folder. It is usually in %systemroot%/Program Files/Prevent . The installer only extracts the file and while running toggles the registry values.

Go to the location where Prevent utility is installed. And open Prevent.exe.

Click on Define HotKey Field and press the shortcut keys you want to disable the copy and paste.

I clicked on the text input area of Define HotKey and pressed CTRL+ Shift + Q simultaneously.

Now Click on Activate button. After pressing Activate button, it will save the HotKey you defined with following screen:

As soon as you press activate button it will disable the copy paste feature of windows.

Now to disable it you’ll need to press the defined HotKey.

When you press the Hotkey in any part of the Windows it will enable copy/paste again with following screen:

Now go to the folder location where you’ve installed Prevent utility.

Right click on Prevent.exe, go to send to menu and create desktop shortcut.

This will create shortcut to desktop.

You may rename it whatever you want.

Now you can open Prevent utility from shortcut and always activate it if you’ve disabled it once.

This utility not only allows you to disable cut, copy and paste but also Delete, Copy To, Move To, Sent To, Renaming, Task manager’s End Process button.

As we all know, Windows stores most of the passwords which are used on a daily basis, including instant messenger passwords such as MSN, Yahoo, AOL, Windows messenger etc. Along with these, Windows also stores passwords of Outlook Express, SMTP, POP, FTP accounts and auto-complete passwords of many browsers like IE and Firefox. There exists many tools for recovering these passswords from their stored places. Using these tools and an USB pendrive you can create your own rootkit to sniff passwords from any computer. We need the following tools to create our rootkit.

Here is a step by step procedre to create the password hacking toolkit.

NOTE: You must temporarily disable your antivirus before following these steps.

1. Download all the 5 tools, extract them and copy only the executables(.exe files) into your USB Pendrive.

ie: Copy the files – mspass.exe, mailpv.exe, iepv.exe, pspv.exe and passwordfox.exe into your USB Drive.

2. Create a new Notepad and write the following text into it

Now your rootkit is ready and you are all set to sniff the passwords. You can use this pendrive on on any computer to sniff the stored passwords. Just follow these steps

1. Insert the pendrive and the autorun window will pop-up. (This is because, we have created an autorun pendrive).

2. In the pop-up window, select the first option (Perform a Virus Scan).

3. Now all the password recovery tools will silently get executed in the background (This process takes hardly a few seconds). The passwords get stored in the .TXT files.

4. Remove the pendrive and you’ll see the stored passwords in the .TXT files.

This hack works on Windows 2000, XP and Vista

Most of us have experienced a situation where in we need to gain access to a computer which is password protected or at times we may forget the administrator password without which it becomes impossible to login to the computer. So here is an excellent hack using which you can reset the password or make the password empty (remove the password) so that you can gain administrator access to the computer. Tipped off that Oliver wants Orlando dead, Orlando too flees to Arden. Duke Frederick threatens Oliver with the loss of all he has should he not find Orlando, Celia and Rosalind.

In Arden, Celia and Rosalind pretend to be the men Ganymede and Aliena, meeting Touchstone, an irreverent clown. They buy a flock of sheep, a hut and some land from shepards Corin and Silvius. We hear of Jacques, a man with permanent melancholy from Duke Senior. Orlando, now in the forest and hungry demands food from Duke Senior and his followers, only to be offered it warmly. Smitten with Rosalind, and knowing she is in Arden somewhere, Orlando resorts to carving her name on trees and hanging love poems from them. Rosalind finds these and still disguised, asks Orlando how he truly feels about her. Ganymede decides to help Orlando be cured of his lovesickness. This backfires, Orlando only loving Rosalind more, Rosalind too falling more and more in love.

Rosalind watches the romance between the Silvius and the fair Phoebe unfold, Phoebe being quite rude towards Silvius. Seeing this injustice, Ganymede tells Phoebe that she really is not that fair, inadvertantly making Phoebe fall in love with her! Receiving a love letter from Phoebe, Ganymede (Rosalind in disguise) resolves to help Silvius.

Elsewhere in Arden Oliver is nearly killed by a lioness but is saved by Orlando, the two brothers ending their feud. Oliver has fallen in love with Celia and will marry the next day. Orlando laments that he cannot marry Rosalind but Ganymede promises to make this true through magic. At Oliver and Celia's wedding, Ganymede is revealed to be Rosalind, delighting Orlando. Silvius will marry Phoebe since she no longer loves nor wants to marry Ganymede, now a woman! Orlando and Rosalind, Oliver and Celia, Silvius and Phoebe and Touchstone and Audrey are all married. We learn a hermit changes Frederick for the better and now all exiled are welcomed back to their estates. The play ends with Jacques wanting no matter in these festivities...
